From www.TopSecretRecipes.com OF COURSE it's NOT the real thing....so don't try to review it as if it were. Just enjoy it for what it is. If you enjoy it....Great. If not, provide a suggestion as to what I can do to make it better.....My husband will be the first to tell anyone that a copycat recipe isn't quite the same as the real thing. I found this on cdkitchen.com last night & tried it last night. Be sure to let it cool completely. DH said - - "THIS IS IT!"....so, we've thrown away all the store boughten dressings. Montana Heart Song wanted to know if it can be made with splenda & so I tried it & the answer is yes!!! (updated recipe)

i have searched for this recipe so i don't have to hand write it from the todd wilbur's restaurant clones library book and a few of the ingredients were typed wrong amounts. ketchup should be 1/2c plus 1T, paprika should be 1/4t, and onion powder should be 1/8t. haven't tried this recipe yet but hope to very soon!!!
Sorry, Krsi Sue--this didn't tickle my tastebuds. It tastes way too much like vinegar for me. I did convert it to 2 servings and substituted the appropriate amount of granulated garlic for garlic powder--maybe something didn't turn out right because of those things. Thanks for posting this--glad so many people like it!
I tried my first two recipes from Recipezaar today and this was one of them. It turned out great! I used apple cider vinegar as it was all I had on hand and added just a pinch more sugar and it tasted exactly like Outback's sauce to me. My family loved it and I've been informed that it's on the menu from now on. Thanks!
