Good steak recipe. Not similar to the Outback Special, had a strong cumin taste. Thanks for the recipe :)
We will eat at Outback & make some adjustments.
Really tasty Old Bay steaks but we find they don't need all the sugar. I only used 1 teaspoon, but might even leave that out next time.
This was so easy and fast to make. Steaks were tasty, but because my steaks were rather thin, they were a little overpowering when rubbed on too thick. Thank you for sharing.
Would you believe I live in MD and ran out of Old Bay, lol. I went out and got some, made terrific steaks. I also tried this same recipe but substituted the Old Bay with a taco seasoning packet and it was delish too for those of you that don't have access to Old Bay. :)
it was good but i don't think it was like outback. It is a little sweet, maybe next time i will cut back on the brown sugar. But my husband really liked it
We used this on Memorial day for the steaks and everyone loved the flavor. Thanks for sharing.
Great rub for steak. The Old Bay adds a nice spicy kick.
Really was the best of rubs to make a great tasting steak! Thanks
I have now used this several times this summer. My hubby and I really enjoy this. We buy our beef from a local farmer, grain fed and very lean this is a nice compliment to any steak.
DH is a steak lover so I tagged this recipe for him. He used a grill pan on the stove to make these but did not care for the sweeter taste in the spice rub. Next time I will use 1/2 tablespoon of light brown sugar. Thank you looneytunes for a easy and tasty steak recipe.
