Very tasty and wonderful flavors! It tasted like the soup I usually have at the Thai's restuarants. I followed everything as stated except: I did not minced the lemongrass(it was too hard), and I left out the tomatoes. I cut the lemongrass stalk in fourth so it was easily fish out. I had a difficult time attempting to mince the lemongrass so I just gave up. The receipt was very easy to follow. I had a lot of the ingredients on hand so it was effortless to cook them. It would be a challenge to find the ingredients if you don't live near an Asian grocery store. Thank you for sharing your receipt.

I didn't have the second paste, so I doubled the red curry. I also used pre-minced lemongrass as my grocery store didn't have any fresh. This was AMAZING!!! I served it over rice noodles. Next time, I want to triple it! I could eat this for a whole week in the winter.

It's was phenomenal. I'm so proud of myself for finding all the ingredients at the local farmer's market! Everyone gave me a "High Five" for serving this for dinner. Wonderful recipe, indeed!

This is a great recipe! I have made it twice now and both times it everyone loved it and wished there had been more. It tastes so similar to our favorite soup at a Thai restaurant here in Christchurch. One thing to note: coconut milk and coconut cream are not the same thing, make sure you are getting the milk. Also dont skimp on the vegetables and the lemongrass and lime...soooo delicious.

I love this recipe. Simple and delicious. I did not have lemongrass or red curry paste. I just sauted the fresh ginger, garlic and minced the onion and added curry powder. I also did not have any vegatables. The broth is to die for and I used shrimp the second time and I liked it much better than the chicken. Delicioso!

soooo yummy. this recipe is perfect, except i don't like cilantro so i left that off. and next time i make it i will also skip the tomatoes. but beckas is right that extra tablespoon of sugar is quite essential. thank you for sharing this!!

My family, kids included all loved this soup. Yum! I am making a bigger pot of this next time so there will be some left over for my lunch. Even though I couldn't find the tom kha paste, tom yum paste or thai red curry the soup still had a great flavor. I also left our the baby corn(too expensive here) and tomato (so all the kids would eat it.) I served my portion piping hot over a bowl full of fresh spinach. It was delicious. We will be making this often. Thanks beckas.
