This is the original recipe from the side of Kraft marshmallow creme.
- 3 cups sugar
- 3⁄4 cup margarine
- 2⁄3 cup evaporated milk
- 1 (12 ounce) packagesemi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (7 ounce) jarkraft marshmallow creme
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Combine sugar, margarine and milk in heavy 2 1/2 quart sauce pan; bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring. Remove from heat add chocolate stirring until melted. Add marshmallow creme, nuts and vanilla; beat until blended. Pour into 13x9 greased pan. Let cool and cut into 1 inch squares.
This is my every Christmas "go to fudge" recipe! It works every time. I also use the same recipe for peanut butter fudge by just substituting the chocolate chips with 12 oz of Crunchy Peanut Butter. My family and work friends always beg for more.
