This is not a low fat dressing, but it tastes great. This was hit with everyone who tested it. I highly recommend this as a great salad dressing.

  1. Place sesame seeds, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, sugar mixture, and water (everything except the two oils) in a blender.
  2. Start blending and add the vegetable and sesame oil slowly, allowing the mixture to emulsify.
  3. Pour over a big salad of mixed greens.
  4. Store in the refrigerator.

This is the best oriental dressing! I didn't have sesame oil so just used all vegetable (canola) oil, and it turned out delicious. Thanks for sharing!

This is one of my new favorite dressings. I made a few changes to make it the authentic Japanese sesame dressing -- I used rice wine vinegar and added grated white sesame. I've been buying this dressing in Japan for a while now, but will now make it from home.

I halved this recipe, and only used about 2 tbls. sesame oil. Served over field greens and carrots, this was a nice, light tasting salad dressing. Thanks John!
