  1. This was the best sesame chicken I have ever had! It was so easy and everyone agreed it was definitely a recipe we will use often! Substituted olive oil to brown the chicken instead of butter because we were out of butter. Next time I will mix the oranges into the sauce before pouring over the chicken and leave out the water chestnuts. They were okay but didn't really add anything special to the dish. Thank you for posting this amazing recipe!

  2. Wow, wow, wow!!!!!!!!!!! We LOVED this chicken. This is wonderful stuff and very easy to put together. I followed the directions to the tee. Loved the oranges and water chestnuts. Yum! Made for ZWT6

  3. We just loved this recipe! I used skinless, bone in thighs. I should probably have taken the thighs out when done and reduced the sauce a bit more but we were hungry and the sauce tasted great as it was. DH is often suspicious of new recipes but enjoyed this so much he wants us to have it on a regular basis. I served it with some stir fried vegetables and recipe #172422 - it was a great pairing. Thank you for posting! Made for ZWT6 on behalf of the Looney Spoon Phoodies :)

  4. Loved this chicken! I had chicken breasts on hand and they were very moist when I took them out of the oven. The sauce is awesome and enjoyed the addition of the mandarin oranges and water chestnuts. Forgot to add the toasted sesame seeds so will make sure I do that next time. Cant wait for lunch tomorrow! Thanks so much Char for posting this recipe, will be one of my favorites. Made and reviewed for the Asian Forums Unrated Recipe Tag.

  5. The flavors are very good, just be careful not to burn the sauce. Mine came out a little thick, so I stirred in a little of the mandarin orange liquid from the can. I made this with chicken wings so the sauce was a little sweet because there was less chicken meat. Next time I will increase the soy sauce and decrease the sugar if using wings.
