Organic Maple Pecan Cookies

ingredients

• 1 cup unsalted butter
• 1 1⁄2 cups brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon maple extract
• 2 1⁄2 unbleached white flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon baking powder
• 3 tablespoons maple syrup
• 1 1⁄4 cups chopped pecans

directions

1. -Preheatoven to 400 degrees.
2. Grease& flour a cookie sheet.
3. -Creambutter with brown sugar in large bowl.
4. Beat until fluffy.
5. Beat in eggs and maple extract.
6. -Sifttogether dry ingredients.
7. Add to batter and mix well.
8. Stir in maple syrup and pecans.
9. -Dropsmall spoonfuls of batter onto cookie sheet.
10. Bake about 12 minutes, then carefully transfer cookies to wire rack and let cool.
11. *youcan also use granulated maple sugar.
