I had 4 ounces of cream cheese leftover from another recipe so I decided to make this one & cut it in half. I'm just feeding 4 anyway. The halved recipe made a deepdish pie plate & 3 wine goblets. The taste is delish! I did have trouble getting it together. My pudding tried to sink straight down through the Cool whip/cream cheese mixture like it was quicksand. So I put the pie plate & the other two goblets in the fridge for about an hour, then added the pudding & refrigerated til serving time. :)Made for the Spring 2009 Pick A Chef Orphanage. Thanks, MomB!

I made this for PAC Spring 2009. After reading the reviews I made a few changes. I added 1 cup sugar to the cream cheese instead of a half, and I didn't add the second tub of cool whip. Not only do I agree it would be overwhelming on the cool whip, but this makes SUCH a large batch there was hardly room for another 12oz. of cool whip! Instead I put a gallop of cool whip on each individual serving. It was very delicious! Another great keeper, thanks MomB!

I've made this twice now, I increased the sugar in the cream cheese to 1 cup, simply because I like cream cheese fillings really sweet. Other than that, I followed directions as written. The cream cheese mixture was a little tricky to spread out over the Oreos, but I did not have a problem with serving it and having it stay together. I took it to a church dinner the first time, and there were no leftovers at all. The second time I made it just for my family, and we had some leftover... The following day, the Oreos were a solid crust because of the moisture they'd absorbed, and MAN was it good!! I think next time I make it, I'll make it the night before I want to serve it. Thank you, GREAT dessert!!

It was ok, but not as good as the original stacked pudding dessert. My oreos would not stay together on the bottom and then when we served it, they didn't come up and stay together with each piece. I felt there was too much Cool Whip, if that is possible -- it overpowered the pudding and Oreo's. Not bad, but I will make my original recipe from now on.
