These were yummy but came out too big for me. Next time I'm gonna try rolling the dough and use a very small round cookie cutter and see if they come out smaller. Also, next time I will make more filling. Oh, and I added 1 1/2 tsps Vanilla extract to the filling. That is a must! Overall these were pretty good though and pretty close to the real thing.

I made a half batch of this with plain(dark) chocolate instead of chocolate chips. The cookie part came out terrific but the filling was far too soft. I think it would be best without adding in the milk and maybe adding a pinch of salt and a few drops of vanilla extract to lighten the sugary taste. I will most likely use the cookie part of this recipe often whenever I need chocolate wafers since we can't buy them here in the UK. I'd also like to add that 17minute seemed too long for my giant 3inch oreos so I'd recommend checking to see if they're firm at 8-10 minutes and don't let them get burnt on the edges!
