Orange White Chocolate Chunk Sugar Cookies

A delicate chewy sugar cookie flavored with orange zest and filled with white chocolate chunks.

Ingredients:

Yield: 24 cookies

• ½ cup and 2 tablespoons white sugar
• ½ cup butter
• 2 egg yolks
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon vinegar
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 1 ½ tablespoons orange zest
• 1 cup white chocolate chunks

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets.
2. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
3. Cream together sugar and butter.
4. Beat in egg yolks, vanilla, orange zest, and vinegar.
5. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Mix until combined.
6. Stir in white chocolate chunks.
7. Drop dough by scant tablespoon size balls and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Don't flatten.
8. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until tops are cracked and just turning color.
