Can be substitued for the crust in just about any pie recipe. Actual cooking time varies by the pie filling used.

  1. Sift together flour and salt.
  2. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles cornmeal.
  3. Add orange juice, a small amount at a time, tossing lightly with a fork until dough is moist enough to hold together.
  4. Shape into ball and roll out or refrigerate.
  5. Pastry will keep wrapped up in the fridge for several days.
