Orange 'n' Spice 'n' Everything Nice Smoothie

Another Jamba Juice copycat recipe. I love smoothies! For a breakfast meal, omit the sherbet and add milk or soymilk. For a slushier version, use frozen strawberries and peaches.

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. Blend ingredients well in electric blender and serve immediately.
  2. (Can add dash of holiday spice such as cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. and/or 1 tablespoon soy protein powder if desired.).

Such a refreshing smoothie! I love it so much. I did add some cinnamon and nutmeg and a bit of flax seed to make it a bit healthier!

Delicious smoothie!!! I've made this for the kids to go with breakfast several times now. (It's a meal in itself for me.) I do not use ice, but rather use frozen fruit and replace the sherbet with milk and a splash of 1/2 & 1/2. Also, I add some wheat germ, a splash of vanilla extract and both nutmeg and cinnamon. The nutmeg takes it over the top! It really balances the springtime zesty-ness of the fruit and "warms" up the flavor. Thank you, Cookgirl! This is a fabulous and healthy drink!!! ~Jeff's Girl Way Out West
