Orange 'n' Spice 'n' Everything Nice Smoothie

"Another Jamba Juice copycat recipe. I love smoothies! For a breakfast meal, omit the sherbet and add milk or soymilk. For a slushier version, use frozen strawberries and peaches."

  1. Such a refreshing smoothie! I love it so much. I did add some cinnamon and nutmeg and a bit of flax seed to make it a bit healthier!

  2. Delicious smoothie!!! I've made this for the kids to go with breakfast several times now. (It's a meal in itself for me.) I do not use ice, but rather use frozen fruit and replace the sherbet with milk and a splash of 1/2 & 1/2. Also, I add some wheat germ, a splash of vanilla extract and both nutmeg and cinnamon. The nutmeg takes it over the top! It really balances the springtime zesty-ness of the fruit and "warms" up the flavor. Thank you, Cookgirl! This is a fabulous and healthy drink!!! ~Jeff's Girl Way Out West
