Orange Lemon Grapefruit Honey Punch

"Here's a nice punch that's not sweetened with additional sugar. NOTE: The amount of honey has been reduced from the original recipe's amount [I use a generous 1/2 cup, but some will certainly find that toooo sweet!]."

  1. I made as per the recipe with all freshly juiced fruit. I needed to add about 14 tablespoons of honey to sweeten. Now I have approximately 6 litres of juice to drink, which shouldn't be a problem as it is scrum-diddly-umptious. Will certainly be making more of this for the summertime poured over crushed ice, lazing in the deck chair in the back yard. Bliss.

  2. Great refreshing punch!! I made it for one cup, which was 1/4 c OJ, 2 Tbsp. of fresh lemon juice and ruby red grapefruit juice and 1/2 c water. I put all the juices over ice and decided to taste it first before adding the honey, it was tart but that's the way I like it, so no honey added. Thanks for sharing the recipe Syd. 3. Wow this is so good and heathy, masha Allah!! I drank it cold but not ice cold because the water I used was spring water that was not chilled the rest I used freshly squeezed from the refrigerator, the grapefruit was pink. I did add extra honey to taste per my preference. I will make this again and again. Made for Veggie Swap 25 ~ August 2010 ~

  4. Just reading the instructions I see that I haven't followed anything. Just woke up in the morning and too lazy to squeze the juice out of the fruits so I threw all the fruits in the blender.I used one pink grapefruit, one orange and half lemon. No water and no honey. It was amazing! I believe this is a potion to bring the dead back to life.

  5. I made half a batch and eyeballed the honey at about 1 tbsp. It was really tart and good! I tried it (about 1/4 of the recipe was left, I suppose) with about another tbsp of honey and though that was good too, I liked it better with less honey. (And my 2yo son said of that version "it's not tasty" and refused to drink it.) Thanks for the nice treat! Reviewed for Healthy Choices ABC tag game.
