  1. This taste just like Orange Julius. The texture doesn't have as much pulp as the original. This is diffently a keeper! To make thicker I used 10 ice cubes instead of the water... this is more of a smoothie. My husband don't mind taking this with his ground flaxseed... mmmmmmmmmm good!

  2. I enjoyed this this afternoon. It made 1 serving for me. Thank you for sharing!

  3. There was once an Orange Julias place in the mall near our house. It isn't there any more. But now I can make my own! Thank you!!

  4. tastes like orange julius! next time, i will add more ice cubes, for more of a slushee.

  5. This was great...all three kids loved it and it really was not that bad for them. I got crushed ice out of my fridge first since my blender sucks!!

Tweaks

  1. Made this one time and was really surprised at how good it was! The only thing I found was that if you substituted orange for strawberry it tasted alot better! At least to me...my sister liked orange!<br/>:D

  2. This drink is delicious. This is better than I remember orange julius being. Used orange falvored ice cubes to avoid the watered down flavor. Mixed it with some vodka when the kids went to sleep, great cocktail. Threw in some strawberries and substituted the milk for ice cream later in the night. Frickin fantastic!!!

  3. I used 11 Ice Cubes and 2 Cups of OJ instead of Sugar I used Splenda and I skipped the vanilla.. it came out great! I recommend this for anyone who wants a smoothie for breakfast

  4. i make these all the time and i substitute the water for some more ice to taste and i cut the vanilla in half other than that this is delicious and definetly a favorite for everyone

  5. WOW! This taste just like the original! I read the reviews & tweaked Miss Anne's recipe by adding strawberries, 1/2 cup yogurt instead of milk, & more ice cubes instead of H2O for thickness. Now I don't have to spend the $5.00 at O'Julius bc I can make it at home. I searched the internet for this... Thanks!
