From Southern Living.
- 1 (6 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed and undiluted
- 2 1⁄4 cups milk
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1⁄4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup ice
- Process all ingredients in a blender until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides.
- Serve immediately.
As usual I left out the ice & instead used the OJ concentrate unthawed! It was probably a bit more orange flavored than intended, but it was also A WONDERFULLY TASTY CONCOCTION, definitely one I'd like to make again! The OJ & milk is a great combo! Tasty drink! I made recipe as posted. Next time I make this, I will add the oj concentrate frozen for a slushier drink. I used skim milk and this was still very creamy tasting. Reminds me a lot of the Orange Julieus that you find in the malls. Thanks for posting. Made for photo tag.
