  1. Combine brown rice and wild rice in a large serving bowl. Add green onions, pecans, orange rind, currants, parsley, basil, salt and pepper, tossing well.
  2. Serve hot or cover and chill.

I reduced the amount of rice I was using to one cup each and kept the other measurements as is. I found it very good, but the orange juice was a little odd. It doesn't mean that it made it bad, but I personally found it a little strange for my liking. On the whole I and my family enjoyed it very much. The currants went really nice with the rice, though, as did the parsley and basil. I may have used an extra green onion, because I really love green onions.
