I really love this! Normally I do not add any form of dairy to my smoothies but I am so glad I decided to give this a try. Since I was only making a single serving I peeled a whole orange and placed it in my Vita-Mix blender and blended it into juice first. Then I added the appropriate amount of milk, ice and vanilla. The only alteration I made was in the sugar...that I cut in a little more then 1/2 since the fresh orange was so sweet. I will definitely make this often as it is a healthy treat that everyone in my family will enjoy. Thanks for sharing. Made and reviewed for the 25th AUS/NZ Recipe Swap.

This is good but I would rate 4 stars with homemade almond milk to be dairy free. I did not add sugar to be healthier but the almond milk had honey in it. I did not add ice either out of preference. Made for RECIPE SWAP #45 - October 2010.
This is very good. I used 4 packets of Splenda instead of sugar. I also added 1 tablespoon of Dream Whip powder to add some fluffy dreaminess. Thanks for the inspiration.
I love orange julius and this came close to their flavor!!! I followed exactly as written except only added half of the sugar. This makes a very fluffy orange dream and what a refreshing treat this morning!!! Thanks for sharing Taste Tester!!! Made for a potluck bonus tag.
