  • Mix milk, orange juice, sour cream, eggs and melted butter together. In a separate bowl mix together flour, sugar, bowing powder and salt. Then add to wet ingredients. Fold in orange zest. Place batter in greased or lined muffin pan. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 15-20 min or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • To make the glaze, combine orange juice, confectioners sugar, whipping cream, honey, almond extract and orange zest in a small bowl. Whisk together until smooth. Drizzle the glaze over the muffins while they are still warm.

Reviews

  1. I had never made orange type muffins before so this was different for me. I cut the recipe in half and followed the recipe as written other then I used jarred zest and used a tablespoon. I also didn't make the glaze because I like plain muffins so the review is just on the muffins. They were moist and tasty. Mine cooked for 20 minutes. Made for Spring PAC 2012
