      This is a delish cake! I remember I took this to a party and oh boy, their heads were more in the cake and less out of it, lol:)

      Very tasty! I made this today and we all found it quite nice. I left out the raisins, we love them but just didn't seem to me that they fit with the type of cake. Also for me the time was quite off, I set my timer for 40 minutes, fortunately I peeked at it at 30 minutes and it was already very brown around the outside. So just warning to others to keep an eye on it so you don't burn it.

      Flavorful, moist and quite light in texture. We truly enjoyed this dessert. This was my first try at using the peel as an ingredient & while a bit messy to work with, it certainly gives the finished product a punch! I'm not a fan of raisins but thought that omitting them would alter the volume & moistness too much. Dried cranberries to the rescue! Worked beautifully. My thanks to Chef Ellie for answering my questions.

      good seasonal cake that packs a zesty citrus smack. i hate raisins so omitted that, and i used orange juice instead of the 2tsp lemon juice. i poked small holes in the cake before showering it with an orange glaze. i would have preferred it to be moister but it was still tasty and refreshing.
