I use this quite a bit...sometimes on brownies as well as cakes
- Beat powdered sugar and butter in mixing bowl.
- Add orange rind and enough juice to make of spreading consistency.
- Beat until smooth.
- Yield enough frosting for 1 cake layer -- .
yummy! i used to frost strawberry cupcakes. i added a little orange food coloring since the juice and zest make it a paler orange.
