This is delicious, however, I just could not bring myself to add a whopping pound of sugar to less than 1 cup of butter! I added 4 Tablespoons and that amount was perfect. We eat this with #14988. Yum!

I made this butter to serve on rolls at dinner tonight. I loved it and my husband is still talking about how good it was. The flavor was so good and I can't wait to try this on homemade biscuits.

I was expecting orange butter, what this is is orange frosting! Tasty though it is, it is extremely sweet. I started out having the recipe, but I doubled the butter to cut the sweetness. I didn't have any orange, I think that would give it a nice little edge. I'll be serving this with #144826.

I made some homemade rolls for a neighbor last week, and wanted a flavored butter to accompany them, so I made your recipe after seeing it featured in Eater's Digest. I am so glad I did -- it's fabulous! I thought the sugar content was a little high, so I cut back on it by a little more than a half. It still whipped up nicely and was perfectly sweet! I also put the powdered sugar through a seive before adding it to the butter (just to prevent a possible gritty texture, which seemed to be a problem for another chef). I definately plan to make this recipe again; thanks Mama's Kitchen.

Scrumptious! This was the perfect topping to the orange muffins I made for brunch this morning. The muffins would have been lost without the orange butter! I halved the recipe and it came out perfect. Super quick and easy to put together! Would also make a delicious icing for cookies!

Flavoured butters have been among my most favourite finds during ZWT. I'll prob have to have a new cookbook to store them safely & this treat will surely be among them. Bagels, toast, English muffins, biscuits, scones, pancakes, waffles, French toast - my mind races w/all the options. Thx so much for posting this!

I made this with "I can't believe it is butter" margarine spread. I cut the sugar down a little, let it set awhile so the sugar grains will dissolve. Delicious on banana bread! Next time I will use individual splenda packets and see what results. Thanks for posting!

I served this for breakfast this morning on homemade english muffins. This is a definite repeat recipe! I whipped the softened butter before adding sifted powdered sugar. The texture was fine. I can see adding a tiny bit of vanilla or aliquer depending on when/ what is being served. Wonderful recipe!

Very nice and refreshing! However, I could still feel the powdered sugar grains in the butter...Maybe its just my powdered sugar's fault......Thanks!

Yum Yum YUM! I just wanted to keep licking my knife! Very orangey, even without the rind; easy to make. We devoured this with waffles-this would be perfect with muffins. Thanks for this sweet treat!

I made this quick and easy butter in a food processor using lemon and lemonade concentrate in place of the orange. Served it with Lavender Pound Cake recipe 138927. Yes both my husband and I had seconds! A long work out tomorrow.
