This creamy, refreshing drink is great for breakfast, after a workout, or as a midday pick-me-up. Use any flavored yogurt you like--strawberry makes the smoothie pink, while blueberry turns it purple.
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 1⁄8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 dash salt
- 1 ripe banana, sliced
- Place all ingredients in a blender; process until smooth.
Nice. I used Balkan yogurt and alcohol free vanilla to be healthier. As well as not from concentrate orange juice, sea salt, plus the rest of the ingredients.
Pretty much followed your recipe, although I did double it for the 2 of us (with a little extra just for me) ~ We like our smoothies large! Also used frozen bananas for that bit of frosty chill, & thoroughly enjoyed the OJ, banana AND cinnamon flavor combo! Very, very nice! Thanks for sharing the recipe! Great smoothie and I like that it used just a few ingredients. I used vanilla yogurt. Has a good orange flavor and I loved the addition of the cinnamon.
