It turned out great. Great flavor and texture. The recipe calls for "light soy sauce" but does not include it in the instructions, so I left it out and it tasted great.
This recipe turned out very well. Used Marsala wine instead of red. Kept it uncovered for the first 20 minutes in the oven before putting foil on it.
It was pretty good. I made it without the gravy because I didn't want the added calories/fat from it. My boyfriend really liked it too.
Over all this was pretty good. Just a few changes/suggetions: More "sauce" for the topping...I made stewed tomatoes and that was perfect. It seemed a little heavy on the thyme. Didn't have bread crumbs so used rolled oatmeal(not instant). My 92yo mother in law and husband didn't notice!
This was pretty good...I found the cooktime was longer than stated in the recipe, it took at least an hour before it was no longer pink in the middle. Next time I would cook the flour for the gravy a bit longer, to add color, our gravy was kind of pale. Thanks Familian for a recipe that I'm going to work on a bit!
