  1. delicious topping for burgers, i make this often for a quick easy dinner. add a slice of swiss chesse over burgers and place under broiler for a minute to melt, then add onion topping.

  2. This was SUPERB. The flavoring of the burgers themselves were VERY tasty...savory and distinctive, but not overpowering. The mushroom/onion mixture was EXCELLENT...I couldn't help but have a few fork-fulls of just this! Served as directed, open faced on an english muffin, I put a single slice of swiss cheese on top, followed by the mushrooms. One of the few times leftovers were fought over. Thanks so MUCH for sharing!

  3. This recipe is very good! Instead of using only one onion we added 2, then used 1 lb of fresh button mushrooms, added fresh ground black pepper and swiss or cheddar cheese to top, melted. Thanks for posting! Diane

Very busy nanny/au pair, working for a very rich and snooty family, in a very large home, in a very snooty village. Just in case my employer comes here, please don't ask where I am from, or I'll be sacked like the last nanny was. ;-) I take care of 4 gorgeous, and darling kids. 3 girls and a boy. The boy is the youngest (and my favorite). They are great children, very, very active. (Hyper) I love to cook. I guess that's a given, why else would I be here. Part of my job is also to prepare meals for the family. The more they like my food, the longer I get to stay. (just a little joke) On my day off, I usually go out to the cinema or some dance clubs with the other au pairs in this town. That's about it I think.
