Make sure you have a sandwich for everyone because there will be fist fights over any shortages. 27* sandwich, Jude.

Hey Jude, thanks for posting. This was wonderful! Didn't change a thing. My sister and I enjoyed this so much. She even had one of the sandwiches cold for lunch the next day. Will make this again and again!

Took a little artistic license with this one...I added Old Bay seasoning in the mixture and topped with bacon pieces and cheese just before broiling atop toasted english muffins. Delish! Loved the combo of crab and artichoke! Will definitely make again! Thanks for posting!

oops. I made this over a month ago and forgot to review it. Let me say- I love a crab melt more than just about anything and I have had them in some of the finest restaurants from New York to San Francisco. This one is just as good as the best ones I have had. As a matter of fact... the crab mixture alone would be excellent as a crab dip with crackers. I adored this sandwich. Surprisingly, it was my first time to make one. I like to indulge myself on vacations and I scour the city I am visiting for the best crab melt in town. Some people visit museums on vacation... I look for crab melts! A real winner you have here. Oh yeah- I toasted the bread before assembling the sandwiches.
