These cookies are AMAZING!!!! My whole family devoured them, and I also brought some to work and they also loved them :D I uploaded a picture of mine
These cookies are to die for! Im originally from St Louis and these are a little taste of home. Thanks for posting this awesome recipe. I doubled the recipe and used a small scoop to measure out the cookies. It made 38 cookies.
All of my family loved these! My husband loves a soft cookie and this is it. We have been to the Blue Owl and had a wonderful dessert there, but didn't try these cookies. I am trying them today with lemon. I ended up with 3 dozen instead of 4, but they were the perfect size. I make my cookies on stoneware so I did not need parchment paper.
WONDERFUL!!!! very simple and very delicious my family ate ALL of them in under two hours. The only problem is that the recipe says it makes four dozen and DOESN'T it makes about two dozen.
These cookies were so easy and delish! Family really loved the flavor, just like the Gooey Butter Cake!
These are amazing. Whoever says they aren't did not make them correctly. I whipped up a batch on Christmas Day while waiting for some other food to cook. They are to die for and very easy. They ended up being the favorite dessert - over all the pies, cakes, and even cake pops!
blah...these were not ooey or gooey and tasted like yellow cake. I didnt' even finish baking the batch of dough. Its still in my fridge and probably going in the trash. Even my kids said the cookies are "yuck". I gave it two stars only because it didnt' take long and they kept their shape well. Other than that, yuck.
