Oodles of Noodles - Peas and Parmesan Variation

  • Cook noodles in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm (about 8 min).
  • Drain noodles, reserving 1/4 cup of cooking liquid.
  • Return noodles to pot.
  • You may moisten the noodles with reserved water if desired.
  • Toss with remaining ingredients and serve.

  1. This was a nice recipe that I served as a side dish. I followed the directions and the taste was good, but it wound up getting really dried out before I served it, even after I added the reserved water. I poured in some milk and that helped tremendously. I also added a little bit of garlic powder and carrots. All around, it was a nice side and we will make it again.
     
  2. This was a lovely light side dish Dreamer. It was really quick and easy to put together. I enjoyed the addition of the frozen peas and the slivers of baby parmesan. The flavors worked really well with the pasta. I found the olive oil to be the perdominent flavor, next time I would use less. Thank you for sharing this tasty dish.
