Made this for a work lunch potluck. Left out the onion because some don't like it. I thought the relish amount was a typo, also, and used 1 tablespoon. Tasted cool and refreshing. A big hit with everyone. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

I made this for the first time with the relish and the mayo as per the receipe. Oh my goodness, everyone loved it, and we ate it every day all week since I doubled the receipe! This is one recipe I will use over and over again. Thanks.

I made this for a Luau Party, and it was the hit of all the food I prepared !!!. Several people asked me where I got this recipe. By the way I id put that very small amount of pickle relish.

Yummy! I made this as written but omitted the relish (I think that amount may be a typo). I used the optional onion, and recommend using it. The amount of mayonnaise seems like a lot. I started with half the amount, and it was fine to eat right away....but hours later/next day, it needs the remainder. I agree that the dressing is rather plain, but the other ingredients carry this salad well. I'll make this one again; thanx!
