Chopped onions on a hot dog are good but this onion sauce a traditional topping for a New York hot dog is better.

Growing up in Southern Ohio, we always eat our hot dogs with meat sauce. I had never heard of anything like this, but it sounded good, so I thought I'd try it. I'm glad I did! It was a nice change from the usual and lower calorie, too! Thanks!
