  1. This was interesting. I used vidalia onions and added some chives for color. I found it to be quite sweet, probably a result of the vidalias. I served it over tri-colored fettuchini which really made a pretty plate! I'll try it again using regular onions. Thanks for an easy and tasty recipe.

  2. Yum! First recipe made from Food.Com, it was easy! Smelled and tasted great!

  3. The simplicity of this recipe is what makes it so good. You may get the urge to "fancy it up," but do resist that urge! I used 1 tbsp olive oil and the other 1 tbsp of butter. I let the onions carmelize. It was delicious. Thanx for sharing this simple, gem of a recipe.

  4. Wonderful and versatile recipe. I have made this twice in 10 days. The first time I made it for one (me), and used caramelised onions and parmesan. It was divine. Tonight I was feeding a crowd so, in addition to the onions and cheese, I added some sauteed chicken strips, cream and sun-dried tomatoes. Thanks Katia for such a versatile recipe.

  5. Delicious and easy to make. I caramelized my onions for more like 20 minutes and used left over spaghetti. Served with sausage and salad.
