  1. Loved this rice-kind of pilaf style. I used basmati rice and otherwise followed the recipes. Delicious served with Garam Masal Chicken#163665 for a great gluten-free dinner for ZWT8 in India. Photo also to be posted

  2. Wonderful rice! I loved the peppers, onions and the splash of lime. This came out surprisingly light tasting - though it was kind of crunchy-chewy with all the onions and the mustard seeds. We really enjoyed this, even DD liked it and she is not a fan of onions. Will definitely make this again - thanks for posting AlaskaPam - made for ZWT8 adn the Herbaceous Curvaceous Honeys!

  4. I really enjoyed the flavor of this versatile recipe. I can imagine it as a base for many quick dinner fixes. Thanks for sharing. **Made for ZWT8 2012**

  5. I used a brown wild rice mix and "Christmas Red" rice which was pretty and a bit more firm than white rice, (even cooked for an extra 5 minutes), but overall, the dish was a bit less flavorful than expected given the ingredients. Next time I'll double the garlic, mustard seeds and cilantro. Served with Turkish marinated grilled chicken skewers. Thanks for posting, AlaskaPam!
