From "The Complete Book of Bread Machine Baking." (1994)
- 2⁄3 cup water
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1⁄4 cup minced onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup unbleached flour
- 2 teaspoons whey powder (I don't use)
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- Put the ingredients in the bread pan in the order recommended by the machine manufacturer.
- Select Basic Wheat Cycle, Light Setting (or equivalent).
