I originally made this dip to bring to a party when I didn't have much on hand. It turned out great and I make it all the time now, as do all my friends who wanted the recipe after trying it.

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. Heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onions and garlic and cook until softened and starting to brown, about 10 minutes.
  2. In food processor combine sour cream, cream cheese, onion mixture, parsley, salt and pepper.
  3. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
  4. Serve with chips, pita or vegetables.

Now this is the kind of dip I really go for! Great tasting & easy to make, AND not from an envelope of soup mix! The only change I made was incidental ~ I substituted lemon pepper for the usual S&P! Thanks for the great recipe! {Made & reviewed for one of my adopted chefs in this Spring's Pick A Chef event]
