We've been using this recipe for years over sirloin steak. Found this recipe about 20 years ago in one of those paperback grocery store check-out lines recipe books - best $1.50 I've ever spent (I told you it's was about 20 years ago!) Very good - you'll love the way it jazzes up steak.

  1. Sauté onions in margarine over low heat until golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Immediately serve over steak or leftover beef or pork slices.

This is good Claudia! I made the recipe using 1/3 of everything and added some freshly ground black pepper. I served the sauce over hamburger patties on a bun, a bit messy to eat, but very tasty!!!
