Onion Baked Chicken

"This was in a McCormick ad in the Sunday newspaper coupon insert and looks so tasty in the picture! The picture shows potato wedges that look like they're coated in the same seasoning mixture, so I'm guessing you can roast the potatoes along with the chicken at the same time. The seasoning ingredients are in most everyone's pantry."

ingredients

• 3 lbs chicken parts
• 1 tablespoon oil
• 1 tablespoon onion powder
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons italian seasoning
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1⁄2 teaspoon paprika

directions

1. Brush chicken with oil.
2. Mix seasonings in small bowl. Coat chicken evenly with seasoning mixture. Place chicken in shallow baking pan.
3. Bake in preheated 375° oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.

this was good and easy to make. I followed the recipe as written other then I used boneless skinless chicken breasts. I also cooked this on the stove instead of the oven. Nice quick, easy weeknight dinner.

Oh my! Talk about a tasty piece of chicken. I brined it first, sprayed with Pam instead of oil and baked for only 25 minutes since it was a boneless skinless breast. I think I will make it again next week. Thanks for a delicious way to bake chicken. Made for New Kids on the Block 2009.
