I made these with homemade chocolate chip cookies, peanuts and a few extra chocolate chips sprinkled on top because our cookies didn't have a lot in them. Glad I did because we felt the brownie needed a richer chocolate flavor. Next time I may try to double the Baker's Chocolate. They have a very unique flavor and are a great way to use up extras cookies.
Wow, are these good! Mine came out moist and chewy and we loved them! Make sure you don't overcook! Woops, almost forgot... I made with homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies and pecans. Wouldn't change a thing!
Another chocolate to the rescue recipe! Amazing, versatile, and so easy! I made this recipe based on Chef#498271's recommendation for the Top Favorites of 2008 Game. I used Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Bars for the crumbled cookie portion which is also fabulous! Added peanuts for second stir in-put them in a zip lock and hit them with a hammer until they were right. I love the idea of using leftovers in any fashion! I chose not to add the additional second cup of cookies mentioned in step 3 as I did not have it-they are good, too! Thanks Redsie for sharing!
I did not have any of the stir-ins so i swirled in some peanut butter. I had to bake it a little longer as a result (an extra 3 minutes). The texture and taste are fantastic. The best part is how easy these were to make. This recipe will be in my "go-to" section when I need a quick, good dessert.
These were soooo easy to make and my family LOVED them. I mixed Newman's Own mint chocolate sandwich cookies and I must say... Deee-licious!
Loved these brownies! I made mine with Oreos (doublestuff!) and they were great! I didn't use any stir-ins so just added a little extra chopped cookie. One-bowl easy, and loved that there was no pan to wash afterwards! These were a big hit - thanks for sharing!
These were very easy and simple to make. One bowl dessert recipes are favored over store-bought or 'instant' desserts at our home and this was great. We used a combination of Keebler chocolate lovers chocolate chip cookies and World's Best Cookies II. You can taste 'cookie' and brownie' all in one bite. Thanks for posting. :)
