An easy recipe to make (no chocolate to melt). Very delicious.

  1. In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt and nuts.
  2. Add oil, eggs and vanilla; stir just until moistened.
  3. Do not overmix.
  4. Spread in a greased 13x9 pan.
  5. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

I usually have baking cocoa in the house and this was perfect as a treat for a child with lots of allergies at Halloween (minus the nuts). He can not have anything with corn syrup and that excludes a whole lot of candy. I baked it for 25 minutes and it was perfect. Wonderful!
