Oma's Spritz Cookies

"My grandmother has made these cookies every Christmas since I can remember. She would always have empty coffee cans filled with these goodies for everyone to dip into when they came over. I had to add her recipe to my file so I can keep the tradition going here with my family. My favorite way to make them is to dip them in melted chocolate after they bake and cool, then dip them in sprinkles."

I am a Southern Belle through and through seeing as my upbringing was in LA........That would be Lower Alabama. I think growing up in a Southern family requires you to know how to make people happy by feeding them. So it became my specialty.

I love to collect recipes. I'm always hitting thrift stores in hopes to find old cookbooks. I may be a little overloaded on the books, but you can never have to many right?

I enjoy going to small little cooking classes when I can.I was able to go to a weekend cooking class in Italy while my family was stationed in the UK. That is where my picture posted here came from. I had such a wonderful experience!

In my spare time I bowl on a couple of leagues. I also had a summer job where I learned to do some beaded jewelry, and it kind of became a liked hobby of mine.
