This soup was amazing! I fried up some real bacon instead of bacon bits and chopped them up finely and it tasted fabulous! My husband takes us out to Olive Garden all the time just for this soup he's obsessed and this recipe was even better than Olive Garden's he said! Very satisfying I served it for dinner with a salad and dinner rolls and everyone was happy, a definite new favourite in my family! Thanks for sharing!
I am a beginner cook but I was able to make this and it turned out tasting EXACTLY like the soup at Olive Garden. I followed the directions word for word and thought it would have too much meat, etc in it but in the end, it was perfect-o.
This was even better than Olive Garden's. But I must say this soup is dangerous to have in the house as we cannot stop eating! I can't believe how amazing this came out
This is the exact recipe that I have been using for years. All of the other recipes on here use broth or stock rather than the bullion cubes but I like it better this way. I also love using the garlic paste with the onions and bacon and then leaving them in the water while the potatoes cook.
This Recipe tastes just like olive garden. Thanks for sharing better than olive gardens yum..
We love it!
Oh my goodness! It is actually BETTER than Olive Garden! So delish. Followed the recipe exactly but used turkey Italian spicy sausage instead of the regular and it came out perfect! Thank you so much! This one is a keeper for sure!
We would cut back on the red pepper flakes by 1/2 tsp. This is good with chicken instead of sausage. And pepperoni in place of bacon.
I made this soup a couple of weeks ago, it was really good, but it had been so long since I'd been to Olive Garden, I couldn't remember if it was a match for their soup or not. Well, I took a trip to Minnesota, and went to the Olive Garden with my family, this soup is a dead ringer for it, exactly the same and really good! Thanks so much for the recipe!
Best soup I ever had
