It was good. I added some milk and coconut milk because I was short on heavy whipping cream, turned out fine.
I, like others, used twice the cream cheese. YUMMY!<br/><br/>I am JAZZED to finally find a sauce that is versatile and not tomato nor flour based.<br/><br/>It's as garlic-y as you want it to be - pepper kicks it up - a * touch * of Himalayan salt and all organic and I am in food nirvana.<br/><br/>Thanks for the recipe - I am using it on leftover naked spaghetti - it would do as well with pasta, rice or - I love this - browned mushrooms whole like they do in Germany.<br/><br/>Better sauce you can't BUY.
Good flavor and exceptionally rich. I used half heavy cream and half milk with 4 oz. of cream cheese. Also sauteed about 1/2 teaspoon crushed garlic in the melted butter. At the last minute I added some chopped fried chicken breasts and 1/4 teaspoon white pepper. Served it over pasta and my hubby adored it.
I used a combination of half and half and heavy cream. I also used the low fat cream cheese. I had to add extra cream cheese because it was too thin otherwise. The flavor was fantastic.
Perfect post periodontal surgery recovery meal - 3 days out and ready for savoury - this with angel hair pasta and some slivered chicken breast was awesome. TY for posting! Will use again for guests when I am recovered - in the meantime it is heaven!

What's not to love? If you want a fattening fest this is the recipe for you! It was delicious, and like most of the reviewers we stepped up the cream cheese a lot. ( we added half a block). It still has that authentic taste, but was a LOT creamier than other alfredo's I have tried or made.

This sauce is so good. I wanted to try and make it instead of buying it. I have to say creamy and delish. My husband and son loved it. I made pasta with meatballs and I must say nothing beats homemade. DELISH will be making this again and again. Wonderful flavor, I did make a double batch so I have extra ready to go in the freezer....Thank you Dib's for sharing it with us...LOVED IT
