Used a loaf of nutty, whole grain bread for this recipe & bumped the amount of raisins up to 1 cup, then followed the recipe after that & we had a wonderful bread pudding! The first couple of servings were topped with some vanilla sauce that I still had in the fridge, but I've enjoyed it just plain as well! Very, very nice! Thanks for sharing the recipe! Nice way to use up some bread I had. I diced my apples. I also was wishing for a little hot caramel sauce or whipping cream to top the pudding. I was happy I could use my maple sugar that I purchased. Made for *Adopt A Tag 2009* from the game *Please Review My Recipe*

This made quite a delicious apple bread pudding and would have been over the top with a sauce suitable for the flavors. Nice to pop into the oven for a quick warm breakfast! Thanks for sharing! ~Sue
