these are so good! the batter was thick and i was hoping it would reach the end of the pan when it baked, which it did. i just took them out of the oven about an hour ago and hald the pan is gone already! need i say more? great recipe, thanks beachgirl

How delicious! I like the low amount of fat in this. The batter is exactly like cookie dough- I greased my fingers to press it into the pan. The taste is almost (not quite) like blonde brownies, but the pecans give their own flavor to the whole. The bars I made did get a little too hard the next day, but I believe this could be avoided by covering the pan while they're still warm.
