  • Thoroughly combine rice with all remaining ingredients.
  • Pour into lightly greased crock-pot.
  • Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.
  • (or LOW: 4-6 hours).
  • Stir after first hour.
  • This recipe may be doubled if desired.

I have serched for twenty-four years for this rice pudding recipe. Thank you Christine for posting it. I could not remember just want went into to the rice pudding. Then I saw your recipe.   4. I must have done something wrong here,my pudding came out very dry and hard,seemed to be overdone.I know,should have checked earlier.I did stir after one hour and left in on low for three more hours.Disapointing..Sorry.Don Steele
     
  5. Made this for DH, and he loved it! Could not have been easier. I used a liner for my crock pot, used 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, and 1 cup raisins.
