    Directions:

      Pre heat oven to 325 degrees.

      Grease loaf pan. Can line if desired.
    3. 3
      Cream butter and sugar until all granules are dissolved and you no longer feel them between your fingertips.

      Sift the flour and measure.
    5. 5
      Add the salt and mace.
    6. 6
      Sift all together once more.
    7. 7
      Add eggs one at a time, alternating with the flour to the creamed mixture.
    8. 8
      Beat until light and fluffy.
    9. 9
      Add the vanilla.
    10. 10
      Pour into prepared greased pan.

      Bake 325 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes.

      Using tester to test.

      Grandma's recipe was a hit! A nice buttery tasting pound cake. I will make this again! Very easy recipe and it baked in the time stated.
