  • Mix all ingredients together to form a soft dough.
  • Drop by tablespoon full into a slightly salted boiling water.
  • Cover and boil until light and fluffy (approximately 12 minutes).
  • Do not lift lid or they will fall and turn out doughy.

  2. My husbands Aunt Dorothy made the best dumpling and gravy. She always used left-over mashed potatoes in hers and I thought they were great. This recipe is as close as I have ever found to hers. They are delicious with pork or beef gravy and in stew. Yummy!
