  1. Bake on Sweet Bread cycle.
  2. Recipe is for large loaf (1. 5 lb).
  3. Measure all ingredients EXACTLY- close is not"good enough".
  4. Water temperature must be between 70 and 80 degrees.
  5. Load ingredients in the pan IN THE ORDER LISTED.
  6. Keep yeast away from liquid, Make indention in flour for yeast.

There's nothing like the smell of bread baking! This recipe smells heavenly. Nice texture, with a slightly sweet taste but not over-powdering. Can't wait to try it with peanut butter! I know this will also make great toast! Thanks for a great new bread recipe, Barb!

Excellent bread machine bread Barb!! DH made it this afternoon and when I walked into the house I couldn't wait to try it , it smelled soooo good!!He said to tell you the directions were great, very easy to follow, he had no problems. the taste is outstanding , slightly sweet, wonderful still warm with a little butter. We will be making this one again, thanks for sharing.

A little salty. I have a recipe for oatmeal sweet bread that I may be able to combine with this one to make an outstanding bread. But this recipe did give me a clue as to what I am looking for in a good wholesome bread.
