French, I replaced part of the milk with full fat buttermilk. Gave it a bit of "tang". Of course, fresh lovage from the garden. Let's hear it for lovage! Lovage-y! Reviewed for Veg Tag/Swap July. Added to the cookbook: Book #274298
I have a Lovage plant and do not have many recipes.....thank you very much for the recipe and please keep them coming....the only thing I use lovage in now is chicken soup...thanks
I love this soup! It was so simple with little ingredients that I wasn't sure about. I did read the review who added buttermilk, good thinking, though I didn't have any so I used 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar, which added a bit of tang. I have this growing in my yard & I'm so delighted to actually use it for food. This will go great with my loveage cocktail of loveage simple syrup, gin and champagne floater. Thank you!
