Summers in SW Florida can get quite oppressive, and few things are as rejuvenating as this thirst-quenching drink on a steamy afternoon. Sit back, put your feet up, and pour over ice.

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Stir together sugar and 1/2 cup boiling water until sugar dissolves. Stir in lemon juice and 5 cups cold water. Garnish, if desired.
  2. Fresh limeade: Substitute fresh lime juice for lemon juice.

Very refreshing. I did add an extra 1/4 cup of sugar for a half batch. But I like my lemonade a bit sweeter. This reveiw is for the "My 3 Chefs 2008"
