• 3 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares
• 3 eggs
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1 cup flour
• 1⁄2 cup shortening
• 1 1⁄2 cups sugar
• 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
• 1 1⁄2 cups white chocolate chips

directions

1. Melt chocolate and shortening, cool slightly.
2. Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Blend in chocolate mixture, then flour.
3. Fold in chips.
4. Bake at 325 degrees in 8-in square pan, greased and floured, for 35 minutes.
