ingredients
- 2 cups ice cream, any flavor
- 1 1⁄2 cups self-rising flour
directions
- Grease a loaf pan or casserole dish.
- Let ice cream soften before adding to flour.
- Bake at 350 till a toothpick comes out clean. (About 45 mins.).

I've been a lurker for years, thought I would introduce myself. I am happily married with two kids. I am a nurse, but currently off work for breast cancer treatment. (Which really stinks!) I really like outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. Although, right now, I am weak as a kitten. I look forward to getting back into shape. I miss my good health.
I love to cook and try out new recipes. My poor family is always getting to try new recipes. Unfortunately, they are not as daring, food-wise, as I am. Oh well! Hee Hee. I get good reviews for my lasagna. My extended family likes to see what I bring to get-togethers because I am always trying new stuff out on them, some successful, others not so successful.
My favorite restaurant is either a german bakery that is here in town or an authentic Mexican restaurant that we frequent.
One of my biggest pet peeves is when people give stars to a recipe they haven't tried. My star rating is as follows:
5 Stars= This has either gotten rave reviews from my family or the type of recipe I can't stop eating or that we fix on a regular basis and REALLY enjoy.
4 Stars= This is pretty good, I'll fix it again but I can easily control my portions.
3 Stars= Ok I can eat this and may try again. Maybe I thought it was just OK, but someone in my family raved about it.
2 Stars= Just OK, probably won't fix again. Still edible, just not truely enjoyed.
1 Star= Had to throw it out.
